Brother RONEY, Donald is survived by his wife Helen of 59 years, daughters Donna Pope (Paul) of Winter Haven, FL, Sandi Gilner (Marc) of Bradenton, FL, Bobbi Jean Huffman (Dennis) of Mars, PA and Eileen Marie Cramer (Craig) of Gulfport, FL, his sister Carole Troyer of Rocky Mount, VA, sister-in-law Rosemary Penatzer (Jim) of Valencia, PA, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Donald was in the US Army from 1946-1955 where he served in Color Guard of King Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. He also served as an MP during the Nuremburg Trials from 1946-1947. After serving in the US Army, he was a Military Attache` to the American Embassy from 1955-1967. His posts were Ethiopia, Iraq, Iran, Greece and France. Donald was a Past Master of the former Sunshine Lodge #288 F&AM and holds plural memberships in Nitram Lodge #188 F&AM and Gulf Beach Lodge #291 F&AM. He is also a member of St. Petersburg Chapter #31 of Royal Arch Masons; St. Petersburg Council #14 Royal and Select Masters; Sunshine Commandry #20 Knights Templar; Past Patron of Gulf Beach Chapter #241 Order of Eastern Star and holds a plural membership in Bethlem Chapter #169 Order of Eastern Star where he was currently the Sentinel. He is also a Kentucky Colonel and a Tennessee Squire. Brother TINDALL, Alfred E "AL". 81 of Seminole passed away on Friday May 2nd at his home. He was a long time resident of Indianapolis, IN before he and his wife Norma moved to Florida in the 1980s. Al was a life long Shriner and belonged to the Masonic Lodge. He was retired from the Uniroyal Tire Company. He was a Sergeant in the 2nd armored division with the Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Norma and son Charles. He is survived by a sister Mary and grandson Charles Jr. (Chip).


Brother COGBURN, Mr. James Cliff Age 73, Brentwood. February 29, 2008. Retired from Veterans Administration. Member of Brentwood United Methodist Church, a Mason, a member of Al Menah Shrine, former Elks Lodge Officer, member of VFW Post 88, Moose Lodge, and Williamson County Republican Party. Survived by wife of 46 years, Mrs. Iris Cogburn of Brentwood, TN. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Kaye Harvey officiating. Interment 2 p.m. EST Tuesday at Monte Vista Burial Park in Johnson City, TN. Pallbearers will be Clyde McCampbell, George Kolmann, Don Johnson, Jim Durham, Jerry Hanger and Roy Holloway. Memorials may be made to Al Menah Shrine Temple, 1354 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207. Brother McLEAN, Harold James "Mac", 91 passed away March 29, 2008 at home under the loving care of his wife, children and hospice care. Mr. McLean was born in Mercer County, PA. He moved his family to St. Petersburg, in 1955. He spent his working career as owner/operator of several service stations, repairing cars and making friends. Six years ago, Mr. & Mrs. McLean moved to Hernando, to be near their son. They moved to Tennessee just 9 months ago to be near their daughters. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Laura E. McLean; son, James (Candace) McLean of Lecanto; daughters, Nancy Fowler (Carmine Reppucci) of Charlotte, TN, and Roberta (James) Long of Cumberland Furnace, TN. Mac enjoyed the love of his 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. McLean was a charter member of the Pasadena Presbyterian Church of St. Petersburg, a 50-year member of the Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge No. 291, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #241, a charter & lifetime member of the Seminole Elks Lodge No. 2519 and a member of the Moose Lodge No. 2112, Inverness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to HPC Foundation, c/o ASERACARE Hospice, 1539C Ashland City By-Pass, Clarksville, TN. 37040. At Mac's request, there will be no service. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.


Brother Brostek, John H. "Jack" 71, of Crystal River, died Saturday, Feb. 23. He was retired from both the US Marine Corps and the US Postal Service. A member of Gulf Beach Lodge No. 291 F&AM
