MASTER’S  MESSAGE

Brethren,

September started the second half of the year with excellent degree work from our officers and members who performed outstandingly and for some of them the first time in a higher chair. My congratulations to Tom Willmot, Junior Warden and Joe Finocchiaro, Junior Deacon, for their terrific work sitting in the East in the Entered Apprentice Degree and Fellowcraft Degree respectively. The official visit of R:.W:. Mark Fowler District Deputy Grand Master and his committeemen on September 18th made for a wonderful evening of fellowship and information.

The Masters and Wardens Golf tournament has not taken place at this time of writing however, I am confident that as usual Gulf Beach Lodge will be in the running for any trophies or prizes given…

This month we have two Entered Apprentice Degrees, Thursday October 9th and Thursday October 23rd .  On Thursday October 30th  (the 5th Thursday of the month) dinner will be held for the widows of our departed brothers.. Please come out and show your support and respect.

Brethren, the enthusiasm, dedication, and fellowship at our lodge is outstanding and infectious so if you haven’t been out lately come out and catch some of it.

Upon The Square,

Richard A. “Dick” Sansom

SENIOR WARDEN’S MESSAGE

Brothers,

What a great and busy month at Gulf Beach Lodge. We had a visit from our District Deputy Grand Master, held two outstanding degrees performed by Brother Willmot, and Brother Finocchiaro. The Lodge breakfast is up and running with great attendance, we had an outstanding showing at the Masters and Wardens Golf Tournament, and attended services for our departed brothers.  I've heard many Masons say to new brothers as they enter our Fraternity  "you'll get out of Masonry what you put into it." And this is evident with Gulf Beach Lodge as we set the example for our District and Florida Masons.  Brothers keep up the outstanding work and be proud to be a member of this Lodge.

On the Level,

Shawn J. Rae

JUNIOR WARDEN’S MESSAGE

Brothers,

I would like to thank WM Dick Sansom for the privilege of sitting in the East for Brother Poolson’s EA Degree and all the Brothers for their help and support especially the officers.

It was good to see all the brothers and their families at the September breakfast. We had over 45 guests with four of them winning a free breakfast courtesy of :W:. Derryl O’Neal and I’m looking forward to giving out additional free tickets at our next breakfast on October the 5th  I just have to decide which unsuspecting Past Master to pick on for the tickets J

Brothers please come out and help on  Saturday October 18th  at 8.30 AM for the Master’s Project workday. Donuts, coffee and lunch will be provided.

By the Plumb,

Tom Willmot
