Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge Honors its Masonic Widows

Gulf Beach Lodge No. 291, located in Madeira Beach, held a dinner in honor of its Masonic Widows. The Lodge hall was filled with Masons, family and friends who came together in support of the widows of our departed brothers. Six widows were treated to a wonderful home style meal followed by a short talk on ‘The History of Freemasonry and Gulf Beach Lodge” which was delivered by R∴W∴ Howard Knapp. One of the widows, Peggy Eisnaugle, is a resident at the Masonic Home and made the special trip to the Lodge to be recognized. Each widow took home a beautiful holiday floral arrangement presented them by the Lodge as a small token of our grateful appreciation of them and their late husbands.

Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge was chartered in 1950 and has been an active presence on the Gulf Beaches since that time. The Lodge is a strong supporter of many charitable organizations such as the American Heart Association, PARC, the American Lung Association, the St. Petersburg Free clinic, and many others.
