Thursday, March 4, 2021: Stated Meeting

If you weren’t able to attend the meeting last night at Gulf Beach Lodge, here are some of the things that were accomplished.

  • Fourteen members and visitors enjoyed an evening of fellowship and Masonry
  • The Senior Warden, Steve Johnson, was approved to get quotes on fire-exit stair maintenance and electrical upgrades.
  • The Junior Warden, Joe Sosa, was approved to get quotes for the servicing of our flat-top griddle in the kitchen.
  • The craft donated $100 to Shands Hospital
  • The craft donated $100 to American Cancer Society
  • Worshipful Master Mark Sawa-Szostak gave Masonic Education on the Annual Grand Lodge Communication (what it is and how it works) As of now Grand Lodge is planning a communication this May 31 – June 2nd at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, however the scope and details are not yet set.

Thursday, February 25, 2021: Fellow Craft Degree

We congratulate and welcome Brother Lukas Vanagaitis as our newest Fellow Craft at Gulf Beach Lodge. Thirty members and visitors enjoyed a wonderful evening of Masonry.

The Lecture was delivered by Brother Bobby Burkett and the Charge by W∴ Mark Sawa-Szostak.

Congratulations also to Brother Steve Johnson, our Senior Warden, who sat in the East for his first time in the Fellow Craft Degree.

If you weren’t able to attend the meeting last night at Gulf Beach Lodge, here are some of the things that we accomplished.

  • Fourteen members and visitors enjoyed an evening of fellowship
  • Special guest, Cindy Norwich, gave a talk on the Rainbow for Girls organization
  • Brother Lukas Vanagaitas returned his EA catechism led by W∴ David Neville
  • A Petition for Plural membership was read
  • Our new Treasurer, W∴ Jim Charrette, gave a Treasurers report
  • Brother Joe Sosa reported on the successful “drive through” breakfast last Sunday
  • Brother Steve Johnson reported that the old antenna was removed and the vent stack outside repaired
  • The craft donated $100 to the Rainbow Girls
  • The craft donated $100 to Chapter 241, Order of Eastern Star

As you can see it was a great evening, please join us next Thursday, February 25th at 7:30 pm for a Fellow Craft Degree for Brother Lukas Vanagaitas.
