Thursday, June 3, 2021: Stated Meeting

Twenty-six members and visitors attended Gulf Beach Lodge last night and enjoyed some wonderful Masonry! Here’s what was accomplished:

  • Our new District Deputy Grand Master, and Gulf Beach Lodge member, R∴W∴ James Charrette was introduced and welcomed to his first tiled Lodge meeting as DDGM.
  • R∴W∴ Charrette presented the Lodge officers with a 2021-22 Grand Master’s Pin
  • Five members of Nitram Lodge No. 188 were in attendance and we enjoyed their fellowship.
  • Br∴ Lukas Vanagaitas returned his MM Catechism, led by W∴ David Neville, both did a stellar job.
  • W∴ Sawa-Szostak presented Br∴ Vanagaitas his MM Apron and Catechism proficiency card
  • R∴W∴ Howard Knapp presented the officers and members present a current Grand Master’s pin from the state of Wisconsin on behalf of W∴ John P. Marra who is unable to be with us this year.
  • The Lodge donated $150.00 to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay
  • The Lodge donated $100.00 to the Grand Master’s Charity
  • A resolution was read for an honorary membership
  • Br∴ John Patterson gave masonic education on sincerity.

Thursday, May 27, 2021: Informal, Un-Tiled Meeting

7:30 pm – 8:30 pm. There will not be a dinner. First-time visitors: Kindly read the Information for Visitors page, here. The Master has scheduled a casual, un-tiled, meeting so that we may have a final review of the proposed legislation for the upcoming Grand Lodge session, which will occur at the end of this month. Senior Warden Steve Johnson will lead the session and answer your questions. Our Master and Wardens, as lodge delegates, will attend Grand Lodge and vote on our behalf.

Thursday, May 20, 2021: Stated Meeting

Twenty-six members and visitors attended Gulf Beach Lodge last night and enjoyed some wonderful Masonry!  Here’s what was accomplished:

  • Prior to the meeting the brothers wished W∴ Mark-Sawa-Szostak a happy birthday and presented him a cake and a hearty round of ‘Happy Birthday’.
  • Two first-time visitors were introduced, one from Gainesville, Florida, the other from Missouri.
  • Cards and/or flowers were sent to our sick and distressed brothers.
  • Brother Brian Marshall was presented his Master Mason Certificate by the Master (Photo above Left).
  • W∴ Chris Bates, sitting Master at R.T. Schafer Lodge No. 350 in Gainesville Florida, accepted a seat in the East with our Worshipful Master (Photo above Right).
  • A Petition was read for the Three Symbolic Degrees of Freemasonry.
  • The craft donated $150.00 to the Heaven on Earth for Veterans
  • Brother Tim Delaney gave Masonic Education on Ecclesiastes 12: 1-7, which was very well received.
  • R∴W∴ Howard Knapp gave the closing charge
