• The craft donated $150 to the Florida Masonic Youth program
• The craft donated $100 to Rainbow Assembly No. 86 in Largo
• The craft donated $150 to the Sowing Seeds Tennis Program for Youth
• A short Masonic Education on Lodge Finance procedures was presented by R∴W∴ Howard Knapp
• Donations were collected for all Masonic Charities

Gulf Beach Lodge welcomes our newest Entered Apprentice, Brother David J. Marrs. Brother David was initiated last night in presence of thirty members and visitors from as far away as Canada. The Junior Warden, Brother Bobby Burkett, prepared a wonderful meal prior to the degree. The officers conferred a sparkling degree!

The lecture and Lambskin Poem were delivered by R∴W∴ Howard Knapp and the Charge was delivered by W∴ Mark Sawa-Szostak.

There was a great turnout Saturday for the Lodge Bowling at Seminole Lanes! Join us for the next Lodge event!

Words can hardly express the great time that was had by all in attendance at Gulf Beach Lodge last night. Here is what was enjoyed.

• The Junior Warden, Bobby Burkett, prepared a wonderful Shepherd’s Pie for the brothers.
• A first time visitor was welcomed from New Richmond Lodge No. 195, New Richmond, WI.
• A petitioner was elected to receive the Three Symbolic Degrees of Freemasonry.
• Brother Richard Hightower received his 40 year Service Award.
• W∴ John Cone received his 60 year Service Award.
• Brother Robert Landuyt was elected for affiliation with Gulf Beach Lodge.
• The craft donated $150 to the American Heart Association.
• The craft donated $40 to the Order of Amaranth.
• Brother Tim Delaney gave a wonderful talk on the four cardinal virtues.

It was a very eventful day, Masonically speaking. The morning began with the Master, Steve Johnson, presenting a widow’s certificate and pin to the widow of one of our departed brothers. It was a very moving funeral service. Next, the Senior Warden, Joe Sosa, organized a lodge clean-up and pictured is Brother Buck doing some painting. And finally our Musician, Cozy DeRosa, set up the newly purchased Lodge keyboard and is getting it ready for our next meeting.

Gulf Beach Lodge maintains a very active presence in our community. Please make plans to come out next Thursday night and see Past Master John Cone receive his 60 year service award!

Pizza and Sundaes at 6:30 pm; Movie starts at 7:30 pm. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, 1971, starring Gene Wilder. Masons, family and friends are all welcome.
