The Gulf Beach Lodge Funeral Team at Brother Marlin Cody Lang’s funeral service on Friday December 20th. Alas, my brother.

Gulf Beach Lodge, helped bring holiday cheer to eight local families in need. Members of the Lodge prepared and delivered the Bengston Holiday Christmas food baskets to less fortunate families in the area. The baskets included a ham and all the sides necessary for the most sumptuous Christmas dinner. Gulf Beach Lodge is pleased to be able to assist in making this a great holiday season for those in most need. Gulf Beach Lodge has provided Holiday baskets for over 46 years and looks forward to continuing the tradition well into the future.
In 2021 the program was named the “Bengston Holiday Basket Program” in honor of Brother Nils Peter Bengston, long time member of the Lodge who ran the program for many years. This year the program was coordinated and run by Brother Al Yoder, who did a fantastic job.

Please take time to visit our GoFundMe page where we hope that you are able to help support the recovery of Gulf Beach Lodge No. 291 F. & A. M. Just like many homes and other local businesses within the beautiful city of Madeira Beach, the first floor of our building took on approximately 4 feet of flood waters during Hurricane Helene, causing extensive damage to our dining hall and kitchen. Your financial support will help us return our Temple to pristine condition.
Also, please share our GoFundMe page with your friends and family, the more coverage we get the better our results will be.

On December 14, 2024, Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge demonstrated its commitment to community service and philanthropy by participating in the annual Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Members of the lodge eagerly volunteered their time and resources to bring joy to needy children in the local area. With a holiday spirit the Lodge members helped at the Angel Tree Warehouse ensuring that each child in need will receive a special gift during the holiday season. Their involvement in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program not only exemplifies the principles of charity and goodwill but also highlights the importance of community collaboration in making a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
This year Gulf Beach Masonic Lodge was recognized by the Salvation Army for the fifteen consecutive years they have volunteered for this worthy program.

Lodge Hurricane update:
We are still awaiting inspection for permitting. Once the inspection of the demolition of the ground floor interior is completed, we should receive written notice whether we have substantial damage or not, and where we stand on the FEMA 50% rule. We hope to have this information by January 1st.
We have a few options, depending upon the outcome of the inspections, ranging from rebuilding the interior to where it was before the storms, to (heaven forbid) having to relocate.
No matter what option presents itself to us, it is going to be very costly. Once we know which direction we are heading with our building we will present a cost analysis so our members and friends will have a clear view of our financial needs.
In the meantime, should anyone like to make a donation to our Hurricane Recovery efforts, you can send Zelle payments to gro.egdolhcaebflug@yraterces or mail a check to the Lodge directly at 14020 Marguerite Dr. Madeira Beach, Fl. 33708 (in both cases please put Hurricane Recovery in the memo)
