Getting out into the community! We attended the monthly John’s Pass Village Friday in Madeira Beach.

Gulf Beach Lodge principal officers and members attended the 2026 Annual Pilgrimage Day today at the Masonic Home – perfect weather and a great time!

What a great night of Freemasonry! We welcomed our District Deputy Grand Master, R∴W∴ Rusty B. Valle, for his official visit last night. Here is what was accomplished.

• Those in attendance enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by Junior Steward, Brother Aron Zions (and dessert by Dee Marshall).
• The DDGM, R∴W∴ Rusty B. Valle and his party were formally received into the Lodge.
• The altar was draped and a moment of silence was offered to the memory of Brother George Francey.
• First time visitor, Brother Fabian Skaggs, from Bamberg, Germany was welcomed and presented a Lodge coin.
• R∴W∴ Roy Worden was presented an Honorary Membership to Gulf Beach Lodge.
• Mr. Alejandro Pezzolano was elected to receive the Three Degrees.
• Two petitions for the Three Degrees were read.
• R∴W∴ Michael St-Laurent petitioned for Plural Membership.
• The craft donated $500 to the ROTC at Florida Southern College in memory of Army Reserve Capt. Cody A. Khork.

It was a wonderful night of fellowship

It is our sad duty to report the passing of Brother George Charles Francey this morning, aged 81 years. Brother George passed peacefully, yet unexpectedly. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Services will be announced at a later date.

Join us in welcoming our newest Entered Apprentice, Brother Joe Miller, who was Initiated Thursday night at Gulf Beach Lodge. Prior to the degree those present enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by our Junior Warden’s lady, Dee.

First Time visitors from Clearwater Lodge and Kilwinning Lodge in Batavia, Iowa, were in attendance.

The lecture and lambskin poem were delivered by R∴W∴ Howard Knapp and the Charge by W∴ Bobby Burkett.

Freemasonry…Alive and Well!! Here is what went on at Lodge last night.

** Everyone enjoyed a great Shrimp Scampi meal prepared by Brother Aron Zions.

** Support was given to Ms. Wood of Girl Scout Troop No. 1298 (many boxes of cookies purchased).

** W∴ Ralph Vaughan (Master in 1994) and his lady Fay visited.

** Mr. Joseph Miller was elected to receive the Three Degrees (EA next Thursday).

** The altar was draped for Brother Jim Tizzano (our Senior Deacon) who passed away last week.

** The craft voted to grant the title of “Honorary Past Master of Gulf Beach Lodge” posthumously upon Brother Jim Tizzano.

** The craft donated $300 to the American Cancer Society in memory of Brother Jim Tizzano.

** It was reported that Allemania Lodge and German Masonic Charities of NY donated $4000 last week to our Hurricane Recovery efforts.

** The officers will present the Jackson Copeland Foundation a check for $500 tomorrow.
