It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Robert “Bob” Meeks on August 10, 2026, at the age of 79.
Brother Bob was the founder of Gulf Beach Lodge’s Bikes for Books Program, an initiative that became an important part of our Lodge’s community outreach and was later named in his honor. His dedication and service to the Lodge and the community will be long remembered.
Services are planned for September. We will share the date, time, and additional details as soon as they are available.
Please keep Brother Bob’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Alas, my Brother,

Four members of Gulf Beach Lodge (Tim Delaney, David Gregory, Howard Knapp and Michael St-Laurent) attended a wonderful MM Degree at St. Pete Lodge last night. The lecture was delivered by R∴W∴ Howard Knapp who also filled in as Senior Grand Deacon. R∴W∴ St-Laurent served as Chaplain and Grand Chaplain. Congratulations to the four newest Master Masons. Here are a couple pictures from this week (August 10th) and from immediately following Hurricane Helene (2024) when we had 4 feet of water in our building. We have come along way through blood, sweat and tears. — But we have made it!

A beautiful Saturday for a Gulf Beach Lodge family picnic at Walsingham Park! Great food, great fellowship, and great fun! Thank you W∴ Tim Delaney for planning the event, and for all who helped behind the scenes to make it such a success.

Five members of Gulf Beach Lodge, including our EA brothers Tommy Martin and Alejandro Pezzolano, attended the EA Degree at Tarpon Lodge No. 112 (Chartered in 1890 and in the same building since 1926) last night and had a wonderful time.

Six members of Gulf Beach Lodge were in attendance tonight at Star Lodge No. 78 for a Fellow Craft Degree. A great time was had by all!
