
What an amazing meeting we had at Gulf Beach Lodge last night. If you weren’t able to attend, here is what went on.
- The craft enjoyed a great meal before the meeting prepared by our Junior Warden and Stewards
- Visitors from as far away as the UK and Canada were in attendance
- We welcomed first time visitor Brother Gibbs from Bournemouth, England
- Brother Gibbs presented the Master with two fine gifts for the Lodge
- The craft voted to provide 1st Sunday breakfast to our Madeira Beach Firefighters for as long as the breakfasts continue
- Brother Bob Dowling was presented his 25 year certificate and pin
- Brother Charles Eisele received his Master Mason Certificate
- R∴W∴ ‘Porky’ Wordell presented the Master a ‘Cane of Distinction’
- Brother Dowling presented Brother Jared Ezzard with an heirloom Masonic ring.
- Brother Nelson Bradbury was elected into Dual Membership
- The craft donated $150.00 to the Sowing Seeds Tennis Organization (which donates racquets to under-privileged kids)
- The craft donated $500 to the Firefighter Steven Coakley Foundation for their Golf Tournament (FF Coakley died in the 911 Twin Towers while responding with his Engine Co.)
- The craft approved the spending of $2500 for the purchase of 24 bicycles in our ‘Bob Meeks Bikes for Books’ program.
