We were honored to have our District Deputy Grand Master, R∴W∴ Michael St-Laurent, make his official visit tonight. Here is what went on –
- 35 members and visitors enjoyed a delicious chicken teriyaki dinner prepared by J∴W∴ David Marrs
- R∴W∴ St-Laurent and his party were received and introduced, and Grand Honors rendered.
- Three first time visitors were welcomed and presented commemorative lodge coins.
- Three brothers from the Masonic Home were in attendance and welcomed.
- The Lodge donated $150 to Rainbow Assembly No. 86 for Masonic Youth month.
- The Lodge donated $150 to Anclote Chapter of DeMolay for Masonic Youth month.
- The altar was draped for the passing of M∴W∴ Danny Griffith, Past Grand Master.
- The Lodge approved an appreciation plaque for Beef O’Brady’s and the 727 South Jeep Club for their sponsoring a fundraiser for our Lodge’s hurricane recovery.
- Br∴ Brian Marshall provided Masonic Education on Masonic titles.
- R∴W∴ St-Laurent introduced District Instructor R∴H∴ Joe Griffith who spoke on Masonic ritual.
- Two District Committeemen spoke about their committee.
- R∴W∴ Porky Wordell present R∴W∴ St-Laurent with a cane of distinction.
- R∴W∴ Howard Knapp was called upon to deliver the closing charge.
It was a very nice evening of fellowship and brotherly love!
