It was an amazing night of friendship and brotherly love at Gulf Beach Lodge last night. Here is what was enjoyed:
- The brothers enjoyed three different chilis prepared by our Junior Warden and Stewards
- Dee Marshall, wife of our Senior Steward, Br∴ Brian Marshall, was presented a certificate of appreciation by Junior Warden, Br∴ David Marrs for her help in the kitchen this year.
- Br∴ Charlie Fuller was recognized as a first time visitor from Ipswhich Lodge in Massachusetts.
- Br∴ Charlie Fuller also received a copy of our recently published Lodge History in recognition of a generous donation he made to our hurricane recovery project. Br∴ Charlie has been out to assist with drywall and painting at the lodge.
- Brs∴ Al Yoder, Brian Marshall, Jim Tizzano and Dago Cruz received their Master Mason Exam I, II and III certificates from Br∴ David Marrs, District Chairman of Masonic Education.
- Brs∴ Al Yoder and Brian Marshall (Stewards) were presented a special appreciation gift from Junior Warden, Br∴ David Marrs, for all the hard work keeping the refreshments and meals running smoothly during our time of reconstruction.
- The craft donated $150 to Columbia-Doric Lodge No. 149 in Greenville, Maine following a fire that gutted their lodge this past week.
- R∴W∴ Howard Knapp reported on the Hurricane Recovery.
- The elevator is mid-repair, waiting on a switch to come in.
- The hurricane window in the Secretary’s office will be installed tomorrow
- Between the HVAC and Electric, we have come in $4,753 under budget.
- Electricians will be out next week to finish up.
- Doors have been purchased and will be installed on Dec 29th
- Thank you to Br∴ Aron Zions for donating a new kitchen steam table
- Kitchen and bathroom sinks will be installed soon.

- R∴W∴ Knapp reported for the PR committee that we now have an online presence via TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Slack, Website and email in an effort to get word about Gulf Beach Lodge to a larger audience.
- Our new 8′ X 3′ banner is in and on display. It will be used for Parades and outdoor events.
- Our Installation will be live-streaming on YouTube January 10th at 11:00 am
- Br∴ Al Yoder reported that Christmas Food Baskets will be delivered this Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Drivers please arrive at 8:30 am. Coffee and donuts will be provided.
- Br∴ Russ Wood was back in Lodge tonight, sitting as Chaplain. This is the first time back since his accident and he was affectionately welcomed back.
- W∴ Buck Owens was congratulated on a successful year as Master and given a standing ovation by the members and visitors present.
- Lodge will be dark next Thursday for Christmas.
