January 12th Update:
As you know the ground floor of our Lodge was destroyed from the 4 foot flood waters of Hurricane Helene. The downstairs interior has been remediated and the demolition work completed – we are back to the bare concrete walls and concrete floor. All furnishings and appliances were lost and will need to be replaced down the road.
We are currently awaiting our inspection results so we can begin the daunting and costly task of rebuilding our Temple.
As of today we have received donations in the amount of $29,020.00 from members, friends, family, lodges and appendant bodies. We are so very grateful for the outpouring of concern, and money from those who are able to support our recovery efforts. We are on our way toward our goal!!
